Attention All Visual Artists...
This is year 4 of the River Arts Festival and it is getting bigger and
better. Last year, we had 50 visual artists showing in downtown Dunnville
locations, over 20 musicians, authors, and filmmakers and an estimated
audience of 1200. This year – November 7 – 21 – is
an ideal time once again to showcase your work for free. We expect a
bigger audience, are featuring the best of local, national and international
musicians, expanded authors’ events, a culinary night, videos,
improv – you name it – we’ve got it!
We are accepting up to 3 pieces of ready-to-hang work. There is no exhibit
fee, although businesses where any work is exhibited will retain 15%
of any sales as an administration fee. Please e-mail us at:
submissions@riverartsfestival.ca
if you want to show and sell your work. Tell us how many pieces (up
to three) you want to show, what media and send us a picture or a link
to your website so we can see your work. We will then get back to you.
Entries will be accepted at Flyers Cafe at 144 Queen Street, Dunnville
from Tuesday, October 28 until Wednesday, November 4 (open 10 a.m. –
3 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays but closed on Monday November 2). Work
received after November 4 will not make it into the official Festival
program. The phone number for Flyers is 905-701-8527 and ask to speak
with Frances Porter.
Drop off your work at the times above...when you are dropping off your
work, we can get all the necessary contact information, titles, pricing,
etc., from you. Then plan to join us for this celebration of the arts.

Note to authors, musicians, film makers, videographers and poets:
We've almost finalized the schedule for 2009. Thank you so much to everyone
who expressed interest in being a part of the River Arts Festival. We're
growing every year, so if we couldn't include you this year maybe we
can next year so keep in touch. Hopefully in you're in our neighbourhood
