Attention All Visual Artists...Call for Entries

The sixth annual River Arts Festival, now sponsored by the Dunnville Rotary Club, is accepting up to three submissions of art, both flat and three dimensional. New this year, all non-youth/student entries will be juried for acceptance for exhibition over the full length of the Festival, November 5 – 19, 2011.

This show, part of a two week multidisciplinary celebration of the arts, offers a free opportunity to show and sell your best work. This year, marketing efforts that expanded last year with advertising on the radio will further expand to include television advertising as well. This is a truly excellent opportunity to exhibit and sell in the period leading up to the holidays in December and January.

Work MUST be ready-to-hang (flat pieces MUST be wired...we assume no responsibility for pieces that are not properly wired so that they can be hung safely! If pieces are not properly stretched or framed and wired, they will not be exhibited)

Pieces will be hung/exhibited in local businesses in downtown Dunnville over the period November 5 – 19, 2011. Submissions will be accepted at Flyers Café, 144 Queen Street, Dunnville ONLY over the following periods:

• Friday, October 28, 9 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Saturday, October 29, 9 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Sunday, October 30, 9 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

There is no exhibit fee, although businesses where any work is exhibited will retain 15% of any sales as anadministration fee.

Pieces that are not juried into the show will be stored and may be picked up at the close of the Festival.
